Personal Statement

I became interested in basketball in 7th grade, when I first started playing.  I used to play soccer from Kindergarten to 6th grade, where I developed good coordination, footwork, and speed.  I stopped playing because I was ready for a change.  The men in my life played and watched basketball, and I've always enjoyed it.

Since I started playing the sport, I have learned so much about myself.  I learned that I was born to play basketball.  Basketball is super natural for me, and I'm a natural born leader.  Basketball is now an everyday thing for me and greatly influences my life.  Although, basketball is not the only thing that influences me.  My amazing family, coaches, and teammates have molded me into a considerate and hardworking person on and off the court.
