Christopher Calhoun Jr. '18 Recruiting Profile

My name is Chris Calhoun Jr. I'm a 5'9 150 defensive oriented starting varsity point guard with exceptional play making ability.  

Over the course of the last four years, my level of leadership , commitment and skillset has improved tremendously.  I am a natural leader on and off the court who seeks to lead by example.  I am a selfless player who contributes to the overall success of the team.  As the team captain, I encourage my teammates, watch film to improve my game and study the film of my opponents. I feel a strong commitment to learning the game of basketball. I average 4 steals, 15 points and 5 assist per game.

Off the court, I am a diligent student who enjoys learning and seeks out every opportunity to improve myself.  I currently have a 2.8 GPA on a 4.0 scale. My love for sports has inspired me to major in Business and Sport Science possibly Kinesiology. I also plan to obtain a Master degree in Sports Administration or Management.  I am looking forward to becoming apart of school community and basketball team in which I can grow academically and make significant contributions on and off the court.
