Personal Statement

I want my college life to be full.  I desire to be part of something great for a college or university basketball team and for me as well.  I have the body type, the strength, the endurance and the leadership skills necessary to play at the next level.  For my first 4 years, I had been the starting point guard for my teams I captained, won offensive player of the year each of those four years, but have now transitioned to power forward.  With my new boost in height, I am playing a position I am still learning, but I'm really growing to love it.  As team captain, I start and play the bulk of the minutes in every game and I am confident I can add a great deal to any team, especially as I increase my game in the next 2 seasons.  My post-season workouts have went well, and I'm still getting stronger as I work out with a strength coach, while keeping my attention on academics as well.

Honestly, I'm not exactly sure what field of engineering I'd like to enter into, but it's definitely an area of great interest.  I will likely start by pursuing a business concentration in my academics.  I am currently ranked #8 out of 209 students in our junior class with a 3.83 gpa.  Coming from a sound family and background, I have a strong work ethic, a quality character and a firm faith.  Please give me a call or shoot me a text to talk more.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
