Shaun Cannady '24 Recruiting Profile

I'm Shaun Cannady Jr., a talented basketball player who is dedicated to the sport. I'm also a member of my high school's club team and team captain. My most significant achievements were being nominated for the team captain position. I have been playing on the school's Varsity basketball team since my freshman year. Being able to play basketball in college has made me more passionate about the sport. What I can offer to a team is the belief that they can achieve their goals and work hard. When it comes to choosing a school, I have a wide range of options. I'm mainly focused on Midwest states such as Kansas, Missouri, and Oklahoma. However, I'm also open to other options. I'm not focused on a particular location or size when it comes to choosing a school. I'm simply looking for a place that fits me best. Currently, I'm planning on majoring in Sports Medicine. However, this may change throughout my high school career. One of my goals is to continue playing the sport that I love and making an impact on the team. Another goal is to be an example to the younger members of the team. Knowing that I made a difference in the team and that I tried my hardest.
