Eric Blank '19 Recruiting Profile

My goal from a young age was to put myself in a place to be able to compete to obtain a position on a collegiate basketball team. I approach the game of basketball as a student first. My parents instilled the lessons of hard work, determination, and humility in me from the moment I began school. I use those attributes not only in the classroom, but on the court. I constantly challenge myself to take difficult classes, which resulted in a 3.7 non-weighted GPA my first year of high school, and I challenge myself further on the basketball court. I constantly am working on improving my game in the gym by myself, with teammates, and in a team setting. I know that nothing is given in this game, but rather earned. I will never expect to be the star of your team, but if given the opportunity, I will be your hardest worker, your biggest cheerleader, and the best leader and role model for collegiate sports that I can possibly be.
