Chris Stephen '20 Recruiting Profile

My name is Chris Stephen and I am entering my senior year at Hanover Park Regional High School in East Hanover, New Jersey.  I am a 6'6'',  220 lb. varsity starting center.  I was one of the state leaders in blocks this year.  I began my high school basketball career as a freshman playing with the JV team.   My sophomore year I was promoted to the varsity roster with the opportunity to be in the starting line up.   I have played on various AAU teams during my off seasons.  During the summers, I have attended team camps at Providence College,  Susquehanna University , Rider University,  and Albright College. I have played on teams for the local basketball facility close to my home as well as CYO Basketball for my local parish.  I was chosen for the East Hanover Middle School Basketball Team in grades 6, 7, and 8.  My younger experience includes playing recreational basketball for my home town from Kindergarten through 8th grade.  My strengths include defending and rebounding.  I am a team player who is always looking for constructive criticism  and consistently supporting my teammates.   My post high school goal is to play competitive basketball at the college level.  I am continually working on my game and skills that will help me achieve my goal.
