Tyler Thompson '16 Recruiting Profile

My name is Tyler Thompson I am a 5"11 pg from Greensboro, NC and I play for New Hope Christian Academy. What makes me a good candidate for your team is my defense ability. I take a lot of pride in defense and believe is my best quality as a player. Without defense it is very hard to win a game and I can bring the energy and aggressiveness to a team on the defensive side. This is what makes me different from other players. Offensively I like to work off of pick and rolls and help get my team involved before I try to score. I feel like my biggest weakness on the offensive side is not being aggressive enough in the mid range game. Other than that i still work on ball handling and shooting to get better. Off the court i make good grades but can always do better. I believe i must work hard on and off the court to get to where i want to be which is on a college team.
