Personal Statement
Hello my name is Chase Ian Forte. I currently attend Word of God Christian Accademy where I maintain a 4.0. Once ranked nationally for both point guard and Shooting guard I am always working on my basketball IQ. I recently attended Magellan Charter School in Raleigh NC For middle school. At Magellan, I play point guard and shooting guard on the basketball team. I currently lead my team in points and assists. I was awarded the Respect Award all four years i have attended Magellan. I am a great person who is teachable and coachable. I have played basketball for the past 10 years. I started playing at the local park and rec, and the Boys and Girls club where I made a name for myself as a dominant force, high scorer, and all around beast on the court. I train 3-4 hours every day. I train Currently and for the past 4 years with former NFL Panther Mr Stephon McQueen. My AAU teams are the Garner Road Bull Dogs for 7 years,.
ranked #4 nationally in 2012. I was the youngest ranking participant at the NC Pro-Am Camp/Combine In NC. This a couple summers ago I attended the Jr Phenom camp/combine in San Diego, CA, where I ranked 6th in the nation. Later that year, I attended the Go Hard camp/combine where I ranked 2nd. I am very interested in attending a D1 college or University, persuing an education in Engineering/law. I currently maintain a 3.9 grade point average. I am a part of the Duke Tip Program at Duke University, and NCMSEN program at NC State where my 95% grade in science afforded me these awesome opportunities. All these attributes I believe make me a great candidate for a D1 university and team.
