I have been playing basketball since the age of six. I have learned a lot about myself through my time playing the game that I love. I have learned a lot about discipline, teamwork, decision making, dedication and respect. I feel that my time in the weightroom, and the years that I played soccer and baseball have also helped me grow in my abilities as a basketball player.
I am a strong ball handler with good court vision and awareness. I play tough, physical defense and don't mind putting my body on the line for the benefit of my team.
As a freshman I started 10 games and played in all varsity games. I also play AAU basketball for C.L.U.T.C.H. Elite.
As a student athlete I understand the importance of hard work in the gym, but I also understand the importance of hard work in the classroom as well.
I push myself in the classroom to maintain a high GPA, which I am very proud of!
Something else that I am working on and an area in which I am continuing to grow is leadership. I have spent time learning leadership qualities through various channels and I am excited to continue to learn about leadership. I feel that this will help me not only in the gym but also in the classroom and life.
I want to attend college to continue to grow as an athlete, a student and a person.
