KeJahn Rainey '21 Recruiting Profile

My name is KeJahn Rainey and I am a 5'10 ,170 lb, Point Guard from Woodbridge, VA. Basketball has been the love of my life since I was about 5 years old. Since then, my passion for the games has only grown. In 8th grade, I was the starting PG for the High school JV team, leading my team to conference and regular season championship. At the same, I was on the high school Varsity team who placed second in the Virginia D3 State championship. The following year, I had developed a bigger role as a freshman on the Varsity team and helped lead my team to a Division 3 State Championship title.  It was really one of the best days of my life. Now, I attend Potomac Senior High School where I have a greater role on the team. We have won 2 conference championships and 1 regional championship within the last 2 years. I would describe my play style as a Speedy and creative guard willing to sacrifice for his teammates, school and coaches who takes pride in locking down the opposing teams best ball handler.

Academically, I am a hardworking and focused student maintaining and hoping to improve my 3.12 GPA. While joining the academic A/B Honor roll his year. I am hoping to major in Business Management and minor in Zoology, Animal Science, or Biology. I love building good relationships with the students in my class and the teachers as well. The things that drive me are my siblings and the aspect of unity and family. I am looking for a program that shares the same fire and passion as me to win games and have a great time while doing it.

Fun Fact - In my spare time I enjoy jogging, researching reptiles and taking care of my pets; 7 Ball pythons, 10 Lizards and a dog.
