Floyd Moore III '11 Recruiting Profile

Hello Coaches. My name is Floyd Moore III. I am a rising Senior at Bruswick High School. I am a 6'1", 165 lbs, point and number 2 guard. I love the game of basketball and have been devoted to it since I was 5. I constantly work on improving my game. I am the first one in the gym and the last one to leave. I am an excellent ball handler, with good court vision, good mid-range game, 3 - point threat, and willing to take the ball to the rim and absorb contact. One of my other outstanding qualities is lockdown defense. Always willing to guard the best player on the floor. I have daily workout that focuses on improving every area of my game. In order to get prepared for the next level, I have been focusing on strength improvement. I can squat 300 lbs, bench press 200 lbs and can push press 170 lb. My goal is to improve in all areas by atleast 15 lbs within the next 2 months. I have been coached by and worked out with former NBA player, Bryant Stith for the past 2 years. Over the past couple of months, I have been working directly with former Brunswick High School Varisty Coach Freddie Reekes, who won more than 500 careers games as a head coach and 2 state championships. Based on feedback received from coaches and camps, I am a very coachable player, that is physically fit for the gaurd position and has all of the potential for the next level. The most important things to me are my family, education, health, and basketball. I want to attend a college that strives on academics as well as basketball. My desired is to major in Athletic Trainer/Physical Therapist. My athletic goal is to play at the highest competition level based on my abilites; have a positive impact on my team from a defensive, offensive, and leadership standpoint.
