Personal Statement
I am a junior in high school and am a starting shooting guard on the Varsity team. I play on a small team in a small town where basketball is not a "popular" sport. My coach, Todd Bowden, was a former college player and works with me to improve my skill. However, I am committed to the sport and take every opportunity develop my game. I go to all the open gyms, weight training and play AAU in the off season. I'm not a trash talker, I don't like to bring team mates down. I can see the court and play against aggressive defenders. I have a good 3 point shot and am an aggressive defense player. I am invested in the game. I have worked very hard to improve my basketball and leadership skills. I hope to find a home on a solid team while I earn my degree.
