Personal Statement

My goal is to earn a bachelor degree,  but I am currently undecided of a major.  My interest are in engineering, astronomy, biology, or pre-med.  I believe that I would be a good candidate for a collegiate team because I am upbeat and positive.  Also, I am very committed to both my academics and improving all parts of my golf game.  What makes me different is that I am always trying to have some fun while working hard to do my very best.  I am also well liked by all of my hight school golf team members and get along with almost everyone.  Finally, I am looking forward to competing at the collegiate level and making life-long memories and friends.

If I would had putted better I would have shot in the 70's. I missed several putts from 5-6 feet. I am till proud of grinding all day and never stopped trying.

This moved me up in points to finish the year 3rd in points overall. I am really happy with the progress that I have made over the past few months. I have been invited to play at Regional Invitational near Wilmington, NC later next month. Plan to keep improving and will focus on my putting.
  • Camp/Event
  • Virginia High School League (VHSL) Tournament
  • 9/17/19 to 9/17/19
  • Played really well today and shot my best score ever. Still hard to believe that I had a round of 69. I had a 35 on the front nine and 34 on the harder back nine. I was so excited that my hands were shaking when I made the putt on 18.

  • Camp/Event
  • Virginia High School League (VHSL) Bay Rivers District Tournament
  • 8/29/19 to 8/29/19

  • Camp/Event
  • VSGA Junior Golf Circuit Tournament
  • 7/18/19 to 7/18/19
  • Won my second VSGA Tournament of the year today by shooting a good round of 76. All of the hard work on my swing and short game finally worked. I have been practicing on being more consistent and today I was happy with my play. I had a 39 on the front 9 and 1 over on the back for 37. Going to continue working hard to have more tournaments in the 70's.
  • Camp/Event
  • VSGA Junior Golf Circuit Tournament
  • 7/09/19 to 7/09/19
  • Played much better today during the VSGA Tournament at Nansemond River with a round of 80. My put on 18 lipped out or I would have shot a 79. I plan to work hard on getting back in the 70's in the next few tournaments.
