Braden Hermansky – Poquoson High School class of 2025 – GHIN#1215178 +1.8 handicap – 3.70 GPA
Golf has been a part of my life since I was very young. I have been a multi-sport athlete most of my life, playing baseball, basketball and golf. I believe that has helped me be a better golfer. I have played the #1 seed for my high school team since my freshman year. I qualified for the state tournament the past two years and finished 6th place as a sophomore and 4th place this year as a junior. I have worked with my golf coach for a few years now and have been working on my course management. I played in a variety of tournaments this year from VSGA, MAPGA, College Prep, HJGT and AJGA. I enjoyed traveling and playing some challenging courses.
I believe it is important to balance my sports with my academics. I take honors and AP classes and have been able to maintain honor roll. I am looking to play golf in college and be a contributing member of the team. I want to go to a school where I can grow my golf game and become an even better player. I plan to work hard this offseason to grow my game and lower my scores for the Spring.
