Davie Wick '15 Recruiting Profile

My name is Davie Wick and I attend Woodgrove High School in Purcellville, VA. Entering my senior year and fourth year as a Varsity player, I am now actively pursuing opportunities to play at the college level. A starter since my sophomore year, I have proven my ability to contribute as a team player and individually as a strong all-around player. I currently hold the school record in 3 pts. scored in a single game as well as the record for the most rebounds in an individual game. In 2014 I was given the Woodgrove High School Coach's MVP award, was named 2nd Team All Conference and All Loudoun Honorable Mention.

I currently set my sights on finding the right college program for my strengths both academically and athletically. I am recognized as a smart and highly coachable player and I'm always looking for advice to further improve my game. I am a team player, but I can also score as needed. This season I averaged 11.8 ppg 8.6 rebounds. I am currently working very hard in the off season to take my game to the next level. My work in the classroom is equally important to me. I have maintained a 3.56 GPA in high school while taking three AP courses and several honors courses. I believe I am the type of player coaches are looking for, and look forward to the opportunity to explore my potential at the college level.
