Hello Coaches! My name is Josiah Morgan. My aspirations are to become a Dentist someday. I believe what makes me a good candidate for your team is that I am very coachable, hard working, and a great teammate. I love to study the game by watching film to learn how I cannot only improve from game to game but also to pick out what my opponent does and doesn’t do well.
I have to thank my family, mostly my Father, for teaching me to treat others well and sharing the Love of Jesus with them. “Character is important Josiah”, is what has always said, along with, “Remember there is a King who lives on the Inside of you…so let the rest of the world see Him on the outside!”
I believe that talent is a dime a dozen, but to have talent and the character to use it properly, will go a lot further. I am a hard worker in the classroom, and when the school only held us to a 2.5 to play, my parents made it no lower than the Honor roll or I could not play. It drove me to work hard in the classroom, so that I would be able to not miss a second on the hardwood.
I pray if it is in the Lord’s will, we will get to meet or talk on the phone. God bless!
Sincerely,
Josiah Tyrone Morgan
