I started playing golf competitively when I was 9 years old. I had played baseball for several years before getting into the game of golf. I have quickly realized that I love playing golf more than baseball. I have found out that the game of golf was more challenging, and it tested all my abilities. I have gained a better understanding of this game over the years and found out that I love an individual competitive sport the feeling to win, and perform what I practiced for. Over a last couple years, I went through a lot of obstacles, such as puberty, losing the feeling of golf swing, so many swing changes, and mental breakdowns, etc. but I have never lost interest to win and never lost passion for golf. It definitely required a lot of time for hard work, commitment and patience, but until this day, I have never changed my mind. I look forward to playing in college golf, and keep improving my golf, academics, and social skills.
