During my time in college, I hope to gain the knowledge needed to pursue a fulfilling career in criminal justice. Attending a university will ensure I'm getting an in-depth understanding of course material while advancing my skills in golf. I believe I'm equipped to do this because I've learned to balance my academic, work, athletic, and social life. Taking college classes on top of my high school classes forced me to adapt to a denser schedule, but also showed me how I can prepare for university life. By taking responsibility for my own success I have seen improvements in my grades and athletic performance. I hope to grow strong connections with new people and the golf community. Learning to collaborate has been useful because I've become more productive with coworkers and classmates, as well as with teammates. I enjoy encouraging teammates and working with them to better our golf game or figure out how to approach a difficult course.
