Charlie Doyle '25 Recruiting Profile

Hello Coaches!

As a mutli-sport athlete, I may not have shown up on your radar from the limited summer tournaments I have been playing, but I assure you I have been busy!  I was a 3-sport athlete my freshman year (earning two varsity letters in Baseball and Golf), a 2-sport varsity athlete my sophomore year, and will be a 2-sport varsity athlete my Junior year, I am currently the varsity golf team captain for the 2023 season.  This year I made the decision to retire an 8-year career in elite club baseball in order to pursue golf full-time, although I will still continue to play high school baseball. Handling pressure is my specialty; on the pitching mound, grinding over a putt, or in an intense match-play situation, I have gained the skills to focus my attention, block out distractions, push down fear, and THAT is what sets me apart from my peers. Coaches and spectators remark that I have 'ice in my veins'.

My high school team won the 4A Colorado state championships during the 2022 season, and I finished in the top 10 individually.  I was also selected to first team all-state.

My 2022 season included 10 regular season tournaments; I had 2 first place finishes, and seven tournaments in the top 5 finishes.

My 2023 high school season has me ranked 2nd in the state of Colorado.  I have placed 1st in 6 out of my 10 tournaments (scoring 71, 65, 70, 69, 68, 68). My iWR is currently -2.117 (#2 in State of Colorado) and my scoring average is currently 68.2 (#2 in Colorado), and I am ranked 1st in the state for eagles (5), and 2nd in the state for # of birdies (36) .

I am hard-working, motivated, and looking to play for a college team where I am able to have an impact on the program, grow my game, and contribute to the overall success of the team.
