Ryan Hooks '09 Recruiting Profile

My name is Ryan Hooks and I am a 2009 graduate from Evergreen High School in Colorado. I have competed in sporting events since the age of five. I first learned to golf in the summer of 1998 and from about sixth grade on, I have been a very passionate competitor in golf at multiple levels. I currently carry a 3.6 GPA and am in the top 20% of my class. My goal is to go to a college that will push me athletically, as well as academically. I am looking for a school that has a strong business program, as well as possibly a sports broadcasting major as well. I am willing to travel far away from my home to play collegiate golf and am not very picky about the location of a school. I just want somewhere I can go to improve my golf game and get a good education. I am a very determined and hard working person that thrives on competition. I know that through these qualities I will continue to better myself on and off the golf course.
