Eli Piper '24 Recruiting Profile

For as long as I can remember, I have been a competitive athlete.  I played baseball and basketball most of my life.  About a year ago when I decided to begin golfing with friends, I immediately fell in love with the game and I knew it was my true passion.  I have not looked back since that day. 

I have been golfing competitively now for approximately 18 months and I am very passionate about the game.  Once the competitive juices began flowing, I knew then that I wanted to continue to work and strive to play golf at the collegiate level.  I realize that playing golf in college is a once in a lifetime opportunity that will have lifelong rewards as well as change my life in a good way. 

My first high school season was in the fall of 2022.  Since that time, I have improved my game by approximately 10-15 strokes, and I feel this is due to my consistent drive and dedication to making adjustments to my game.  I have a high golf IQ, and I am a team leader and I try to lead by example.  I am very coachable and have always strived to be the hardest worker on any team I am a part of. 

I also work hard in the classroom and maintain a very high GPA.  I have volunteered at several youth camps and I am currently enrolled in the co-op work program where I work 15 hours per week. 

I look forward to attending college and pushing myself on the course and in the classroom.  As I am open to all options, I also want to find the right college for me with the best coaches and competition possible so I can learn and grow with my game and my education.
