Entering into my freshman year of high school I was looking for a way to get involved in school activities so I could meet some new people before school started. I had played golf with my dad on vacations so I thought I would give it a try. I went to the range everyday during the summer. My freshman year I ended up playing in all the varsity matches expect one and I was hooked. Golf has made me work harder at everything I do. working off has helped me to improve my game. There's something about golf that drives me to be better. It has helped me with building relationships with other people, including players and even coaches. Golf has taught me what life is really like, you will have your ups and your downs. At times in life things will be easy and other times you will have to work even harder to see growth. I really want to continue to play and improve. I feel like I have really just begun to play. I'm hoping with taking my game to the next level I will improve even more.
