Odin Medrick '24 Recruiting Profile

The summer before freshman year of high school I moved with my family across the country from Colorado to Michigan and ended up falling in love with golf. Although I had gone a few times when I lived in Colorado, I was never serious about golfing until that summer. I still play hockey and baseball but whenever I find time I am out on the course. In fact, I've found that hockey and baseball trips have created lots of opportunity for me to play tons of different courses around the state, giving me different challenges everywhere I play. I didn't start playing competitive golf until my sophomore year of high school, but it has brought a whole new aspect to the game on which I am hooked. I think that with the combination of my academics, love of competition and cohesiveness I bring to a team, I am a great addition to any program.
