Carson Besonen '25 Recruiting Profile

I am very passionate about the game of golf, and would love the opportunity to compete at the collegiate level.  I have been fortunate to have had success at numerous tournaments dating back to when I was 8, which along with my practice habits, have allowed me to develop mental toughness to go along with my physical skills.  I believe I am only scratching the surface of what my abilities can become, as I have recently grown 4-5 inches and may not be done with my physical development.  I also have taken on a leadership role on my golf team, encouraging and assisting my teammates to be the best players they can. In addition to playing golf, I play on my high school basketball team, and also participate in a thorough strength training program.  Academically, I rank near the top of my class, and I am taking college prep and college credit classes currently.  I look forward to the opportunity to further develop my golf skills, and to use those along with my mental and leadership abilities to make a positive contribution to a college golf program.
