My ultimate goal is to obtain a bachelor's degree in business management. I also hope to have the opportunity to play on a competitive golf team while accomplishing this goal. I made the decision midway through my Senior year of HS that I was going to take the year after graduation to focus on academics and get "reacquainted" with attending classes on a regular basis since the Pandemic forced the majority of the last year and a half of HS to be done from my home. I am currently attending Brookedale CC. and completed the first semester with a 3.8 GPA.
At the end of my freshman year my intention is to transfer, and my hope is to transfer to a school that has a competitive golf program. Over the course of the last year, I feel that I have not only matured in the classroom but also on the golf course. I am very excited about my play and know that I am better than I have ever been. I have increased my swing speed with my driver to 118 mph. With this increase, my average drive is 305 yards. However, where I have seen even greater gains is in my irons where my average 7 iron is 195 yards. My short game has always been my strength, and this has not changed. My recent project is focusing on the mental aspects of the game and course management.
I know I can play with anyone at any level in college, however I am just looking forward to getting the opportunity to play college golf and am confident that I will be a strong addition to any program that should give me that chance.
