Ryan Ricci '22 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Ryan Ricci. I am an aspiring junior golfer who wishes to play at the collegiate level and beyond. I am hard working, passionate and dedicated to academics and the game of golf. 

This spring 2021 I am attending The Mike Bender Elite Junior golf academy.  Spending three moths at the academy,  working daily with Mike Bender and his team of coaches has improved many aspects of my thought process, tournament preparation and execution under pressure in tournament's.   I am playing in local and regional tournaments in the central Florida area including Hurricane and Top 50 junior tour events.  

While home in New England, I play in local ,regional, and national tournaments. Including New England PGA Junior Tour, United States Challenge Cup, Hurricane Junior Golf Tour, Optimist International Junior Golf, IMG Junior Golf Tour, and AJGA affiliated tournament's. A few of the bigger  tournaments I have played in are Optimist International Junior Golf Championship, and the Hurricane Junior Golf National Championship. To prepare for these tournament's I spend hours on the driving range and on course  working tirelessly to improve my game. On the range I work on my swing so I have confidence every time I step over the golf ball. When I am on the course I try and simulate a tournament atmosphere, so when I play in tournament's I am ready to go low. Off the course I work with my swing, mental, and personal trainer, to keep my mind, body, and swing in check. In the off seasons I either play in tournament's down south or work on my swing in a set up I have in my garage. I also work with my coaches to keep my game solid all year round.
