Personal Statement
My name is Braydon O’Leary. I am a senior at May River High School in Bluffton, SC. I am the number one player on our golf team and have been on the varsity team all four years. My present handicap is 3. Both my swing coach and high school coach believe I have the skill set, commitment and statistics to play golf at the college level. Additionally, the level of competition in the low country of South Carolina is very competitive and has driven me to continually improve my level of play.
I have had an active and diversified high school experience. In addition to golf, I have been actively involved in Young Life, Student Government leadership and have a job on the side. Although academics are a priority, golf is my passion and I always ensure that I have sufficient time for practice and improvement.
