Personal Statement

I want to play college golf at the highest possible level while earning my undergraduate degree in the medical field.  My ultimate goal would be to become a Physical Therapist. I believe balancing academics and being part of a competitive golf team will help prepare me for future demands in the workplace as well as my personal life.

I am a promising candidate with a ton of potential and passion for the game of golf.  Hart Ranch golf course has been my second home. I started participating in their junior golf program at age six. I currently take private lessons and work full time at the course. I have played on the Stevens High School varsity golf team since my freshman year. I love to play the game of golf.  I am a student of the game and know I can become so much better.  I believe the possibilities are endless when immersed into a program of excellence and surrounded by quality coaches and teammates.

I am okay with being different. I take pride in the positive choices I have made throughout high school. My character has been developed through my faith, family, and life experiences. I am strongly connected with my church and have participated and served on several mission trips. I am a well-rounded athlete that has had success in a variety of sports. My Mom is an elementary PE teacher and my Dad is a middle school principal. I have been raised to value education.  I have been a successful student/athlete and have been a member of the National Honors Society for two years.  I am searching for a college that will be a perfect fit. I can compete at a high level in golf and pursue my goal of becoming a Physical Therapist.
