Keegan Strong '22 Recruiting Profile

I would like to start off by introducing myself, I have been a goalie since I was 4, I even refused to leave the net and have been passionate about goaltending ever since. I love the perception the position has to offer me of being able to see the whole game and the comforting feeling the gear has to offer me. 

I grew up in a really small community, that thrives with Hockey! I have been on a Club/travel team since  I was 5, my teams have won many  tournaments over the years, we even have brought home 4 State titles, this year being the most recent for the 2018-2019 Alaska State Tournament U14 Bantam Champions hosted on our home ice.

I've grown up with my coaches and my team mates, they are to me my family.  They have always been there for me.  When I was younger I had to climb a lot of  difficult mountains academically and socially.  Hockey was my way out of that anxiety and pressure.  Everytime I step on the ice I become focused and energized and I'm ready to play.

I want to learn better goalie skills, to advance in my career and meet new coaches/mentors and team mates. To play for a college hockey team that I can one day call them My Hockey Family.
