2022 Highlights Personal Statement
My name is Zander and I'm a 2004 born goalie in Kelowna BC Canada. This past season I played for a U18AA Tier 1 team in North Okanagan, the North Zone Kings. During the season I made 1042 saves with a 0.959 save average by the end of the season from regular season, exhibition, playoffs and tournament games. The goalie most similar to my style of play is Vasilevskiy, I'm reliable, consistent, communicative, with a tad bit of flare here and there! I'm very determined and dedicated to my craft. Though I enjoy bonding time with the team during events and outings, you will always find me in the corner of the rink with my headphones on getting in the zone with my pre-game warm ups before each practice and game.

- This showcase highlights the talent of local and regional players ranging from birth years of 2001-2005. The goal of this event is to educate and create an opportunity for players to showcase their talents in front of top ACHA programs from across the country. In 2021 we had over 50 ACHA coaches attend, and we expect to surpass that number this year.

- spring development exposure camp April 30 – May 2, Kelowna, B.C at the Capital News Center. The city of Revelstoke has been the home of the Grizzlies franchise in the KIJHL for many years. Our community and fan support is well known as being second to none, boasting some of the most well attended games in the league and having a history of success, winning the western Canadian Junior B Championship in 2010 and moving numerous players on to Jr. A, WHL, ACAC, ACHA, NCAA and the BCIHL.

- Trained 4 days a week with the Kelowna Chiefs Junior B hockey team from March to June. Was invited from the Chiefs ID camp in March to attend the Spring training.

- Training with Adam Brown along side Cole Schwebius at the Junior A Kelowna Rockets goalie sessions. Adam was working with Zander to prepare him for Junior A hockey. He had current Rockets shooters during his training.
