        Before I even set foot in an ice rink, I knew I wanted to play hockey at the highest level possible. I remember being eight years old, and telling my family every day that I wanted to play hockey and that I wanted to be a goalie. Ever since I was given the opportunity to play hockey, my love for the game and, my motivation to get better has skyrocketed. When I am part of a team, that team is my second family. I am an extremely committed player, and no matter the situation, I will always play to the best of my ability for my team.

        I truly live by the meaning "Practice makes perfect". Being on the ice is one of the most important aspects of getting better, so I make it a point to be on the ice 1-2 times a day, whether that be with my goalie coach, my team, or by myself. I know that if I am given the opportunity, I will prove to be a valuable member of a team. Hockey is my passion, but I am also an individual who has always been a strong believer in the importance of furthering your education. Being a collegiate athlete is a dream of mine, and if given the opportunity, I will strive to become a better student and teammate on a daily basis.
