Personal Statement

Hi, I'm Connor a goalie who just completed his 2nd year playing Teir II hockey. My goal is to play hockey into college and beyond; it truly is a life long sport. I'm currently interested in getting a degree in engineering but have interests in architecture, and history.

I have a very athletic playing style with a level-headed demeanor. I am not loud in personallity; I would say I am more reserved, thoughtful and observant allowing me to make saves in high-pressure games. I don't just have the skill to win but the mentality to see anything through win or lose. This is why most will fracture at the end but I will stand firm with no hesitation to get everything that moment has to offer. Never count me out because I'll always be there to finish the fight.

As a teammate, I would describe myself as calm and supportive to everyone on the team. The goalie's position is to support his team every time he steps on the ice. I like to take that off the ice and into the locker room encouraging my team to be the best in everything they do.

The U14 Tier II Team will play under the Coeur d’Alene Hockey Academy umbrella. To supplement the players on-ice training, the Academy will be providing off ice amenities such as: strength and conditioning training, shooting and stickhandling skill work, video analysis, and other high intensity training including time on the skating treadmill. The student athletes will have the benefit of being constantly surrounded by the entire Coeur d’Alene Hockey Academy Staff. Our staff is dedicated to developing and preparing young men and women for the next levels of hockey.
