I started playing hockey when I was around 5 years old, and ever since then, I have always wanted to play at a higher level of hockey. I have been given the amazing and fulfilling opportunity to play at elevated and more advanced degrees of hockey through my career in numerous different states.
I have lived in Wyoming my whole life, where I played for my home club for a great deal of time until my last year of 14U. Within the same year, I tried out for a 14U AA (2019-2020) team in Park City, Utah for the first time ever. After the second ice session of tryouts, the coach came up to me and asked if I would like to play for the organization. That was my first time playing for a AA team. This year I played for a 16U AAA (2020-2021) hockey team for a few months. I am currently on a Team Wyoming 18U AA (2020-2021), where I continued to grow. We made it to 2021 Youth Tier II 18u Nationals.
I try to be the best leader and role model for my teammates and the youth in my community. I go out and light the spark for my team, whether it be me going out and getting a big check or going out and making a good play. I push myself harder for myself and my teammates to perform with superior skills and qualities on the ice. I try to continue my leadership outside the ice, in school, community activities, and home, where I constantly push myself to become a better person.
Although I would love to play professionally, I know how important education is for me. I believe that attending a college or university will help me pursue my goal. I would like to pursue a degree in Law or Politics. Hockey is a passion and lifestyle for me, but an education is just as important to me. I am very open about looking into colleges and is still a matter of great importance to me.
