Carter Miller '16 Recruiting Profile

My name is Carter Miller and I am passionate about the game of ice hockey. I have loved the game since I stepped on the ice in my hometown of Sun Valley, Idaho as a mite. As I continued on my hockey journey I ended up on a AAA team in Boise, Idaho. After a few season in Boise I felt that It was time for me to pursue the competitive level in which New England Prep Schools had to offer.

It proved to be a learning experience as a young freshmen coming in to high school. I saw that many players and young students repeat a grade to better their development as a student and as an athlete. After some time I decided to attend The Pomfret School. Pomfret has given me a great opportunity to compete at the highest level in Prep School hockey. Playing at the prep level has done nothing but keep me excited and inspired to pursue hockey at the collegiate level.

Above all, I believe in the importance of my compete level, my team, and the love of the game.
