I’ve been playing competitive hockey since I was 6 years old. I made the decision to switch to goalie during my peewee major season when I was 12. Since making the switch, I have been the starting goalie for every team I’ve been on. My sophomore year my coaches awarded me MVP of the team.
I had a successful junior year as the varsity starter at St. Ignatius. We repeated as conference champions this season and St. Ignatius is consistently ranked within the top 10 within Illinois. I am 6’0 185 lbs and maintain a 4.0 cumulative GPA. Our team also achieved several other milestones this year, including winning the Jesuit cup over #1 ranked in Colorado, Regis Jesuit, as well as big wins against #1 ranked NTG, #3 ranked GBN (twice) and #4 ranked Loyola Academy. On the season, I posted a .925 sv% with a 2.05 GAA in 41 games this season with a 32-9 record.
My goal is to play junior hockey and college hockey. I am a dedicated athlete on and off the ice and always seek to improve myself every day. As the starter for JV we have won our team’s conference 2 years in a row, and during that time I have had an overall record of 38-2-2 in conference games, as well as 14 shutouts. Off the ice I train speed, strength, and conditioning with GVN Performance, which has helped me elevate my game even more. I am a student of the game and will do whatever it takes to reach the next level.
