Eli Underhill '23 Recruiting Profile

Hockey has played a big role in my life, whether it's on or off ice. I have dedicated most of my time to hockey because I want to be the best player I can be so I can compete in higher level competition. I always look for challenges on the ice and in school to become a more complete player and learner. I like to apply what I learn from others and incorporate it into my game to always have more skills to use in different situations. 

I am a top of the line penalty killer that eats pucks and always fights through the pain. I am a puck moving defender that is always reliable and can skate whenever needed. I may not be on the scoresheet much but I always make a difference defensively and offensively.

 My teammates will always be the number one priority whether it is getting them pumped up before a game or having to defend them from whatever comes our way. If they ever need help with something or point out mistakes I will listen and comprehend it to become a better player and teammate. I am a very coachable athlete that will take constructive criticism well and apply it to the game. During games I make smart and creative plays that will help the team get up on the leaderboard. I always receive support from my family and friends to keep going and push to my ultimate goal: make it to the show.
