Nicholas Frantz '24 Recruiting Profile

Hello All,

My Name is Nicholas V Frantz, Nikko for short. I am a 2005 Goaltender that currently plays out of Addison, IL with the Chicago Flame U18 NIHL Elite. 

Over my whole career, I’ve been able to adapt and learn of any new challenges that have came my way. I love to be a team leader rather than an all star. To me, winning is a team effort, and it will always start in the net and work its way out. 

A brief history of my career, I started out in Hoffman Estates, IL with the Wolf Pack hockey club developing and adapted to new shots. After 2 years, I would move on further to the Timberwolves AA Club. Staying there for another 2-3 Years, I also double rostered with the D211 Cheifs Varsity team until making my current decision to play with the Chicago Flames. 

AA Hockey would not be the barrier, furthermore exposing myself to levels such as AAA, Juniors || and a tad of NCAA D1 Hockey, I was able to expand my thinking during certain plays, critical moments and expectations for a Goalie. 

Until then, I am working towards being on the ice at least 3 days a week to prepare myself for the next level.
