I started in learn-to-skate when I was four years old. I couldn’t balance on the skates and spent a lot of time laying on the ice. It took going to the rink about 10 times for me to get the hang of it – and I’ve been hooked on the sport ever since. Hockey has given me the opportunity to travel around the world – to such places as Canada, Italy, Russia and Prague. More importantly, it has allowed me to meet new people and make lifelong friends. I thrive in the fast-paced physical environment of the game of hockey. My goal is to be able to continue to play at the next level by playing on a college hockey team where I can make a solid contribution and continue making friends with teammates and coaches.
