My dream is to play hockey at the college level while going to an amazing school that will help to set up my path for life. To accomplish this goal, I work extremely hard to balance my responsibilities as a Captain of the Varsity Ice Hockey and Varsity Lacrosse teams, as well as to excel as a student.
Following Austin Prep's MIAA Division 1 Massachusetts State Championship win during my freshman year, my school transitioned to the NEPSAC Girls Hockey League my sophomore season. In addition to enjoying the challenge and increased competition level that we faced, I am proud that we finished the season with a strong 19-6-3 record, which earned us the fourth seed in the 2023 Patsy Odden Large School Tournament. I was honored to earn the spot as a starting defenseman on the team and to be on the first line of both the power play and penalty kill throughout the season.
Throughout my time at Austin Prep, I've maintained a 3.91 cumulative GPA (4.36 weighted) in all honors courses, achieving distinction every semester, and I have added AP Physics and AP Language to my course load this year. When I am off the ice, I am an active student leader who serves as a member of the Student Augustinian Values Institute and Unitas Leadership Academy, roles that allow me to work closely with school administration and frequently present to fellow students. I am also leader of my school's service club, a Cubby Cares Peer advisor to middle school students, and a math peer tutor.
