Ayden Badrikian, ...Personal Statement
My name is Ayden Badrikian and I live in Wilmington, MA. I started skating when I was 3 years old. I played defense on my club team at the age of 7. This past season as a Freshman, I played on the Austin Prep Varsity hockey team. In addition to playing for Austin Prep, I also have played on the 2008 Islanders Elite Hockey Club for the past two years. In the Fall, I will continue to play for the U15 Islanders Elite Hockey Club. I also play on the Austin Prep lacrosse and golf teams.
This year at Austin Prep, I have taken several honors classes to challenge myself. I am also part of a small group of students that are picked for the Green Key Ambassador Program. A Green Key Ambassador Hosts shadow day for students, campus tours to all potential students and parents as well as other school activities. I also have students who are accepted to Austin Prep email me questions about the school, daily life and athletics over the summer.
My goal is to play Division 1 hockey. I continuously work hard in order to maximize my skills, speed and strength. I am thankful for my parents who got me to love the game at such a young age. Hockey is my true passion because it is fun and competitive.
