I successfully made it through CAHA to Districts on the path to Nationals Development Camp in TN.

My goal is to play college level hockey in the USA. I am dual citizen (USA and Canada) and come from a large blended family. I played hockey in Canada between the ages of 5 and 14. I moved to North Carolina in late August 2022. I have a very strong work ethic on and off the ice and coaches last year called me the engine of the team. I play hard at both ends of the rink. I was an assistant captain on our U15 Major team and finished about 20th in the league last year for points.

Southern District National Camp Tryout

Players earn invitation to the national camps through their performance at a series of state- and district-level camps held each season. The camps are designed so players return home afterward with the tools to further develop their skills over the course of the coming season and beyond. The USA Hockey National Player Development Camps also serve as an evaluation environment for players competing to represent the U.S. at international tournaments and events including the Ivan Hlinka Memorial Cup, the Under-17 Five Nations Tournament, and the Women's National Festival in Lake Placid, N.Y..

2023 CAHA Player Development Camp Tryouts

Kane was selected as one of 6 forwards from the camp to advance to the Southern District National Camp Tryout in Nashville, TN. The 2023 CAHA Player Development Tryout was held April 14-16, 2023 at Extreme Ice Center in Indian Trail, NC. Tryouts were open to all male U.S. citizens born in 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009 who are legal residents of North Carolina or South Carolina. Players advancing to the National Camp Tryout and the Select 14 Camp will receive a direct invite from the Southeastern District.

Kane's team won districts and played in the Nationals. They played three games against the top ranked teams in the country and Kane finished with 2pts in those 3 games and was noted in a scouting review as a key performer for the Canes against The Mission.
