I was born in Minnesota and grew up in Mahtomedi where my dad introduced me to hockey when I was 3 and I have never stopped loving it since then. I am 16 years old and coming into my Junior season at Mahtomedi High School. I have always been in the Mahtomedi hockey association in Minnesota where I still play now coming into my second year on the High School Team for the Zephyrs (there is no AAA or Tier 1 in Minnesota during the regular season). During my sophomore season, I did not get significant playing time for the team due to a very strong and deep senior class that led our team to great things. I was 1 of 4 underclassmen who actually got to play a varsity game for Mahtomedi last season but coming into my junior year, my coaches have big expectations for me. With losing 7 senior forwards from last year's team, my role on the team is going to be significant this year, playing a lot of minutes for one of the best teams in the state. I plan to maximize this opportunity and have the best season I possibly can and hopefully win another state championship for Mahtomedi. During the off-season, starting from late March to November, I have put in countless hours with the Minnesota Advanced program (Map South Hockey) in Mendota Heights, Minnesota, and was named a player of the month for the program in August and September for my hard work and dedication to improving my self in the off-season. I am currently maintaining a 3.4 GPA. I work as hard in the classroom as I do on the ice. My goal is to work as hard as I possibly can so I can achieve my dreams of playing competitive hockey after high school. I was fortunate to receive invites to USHL and NAHL main camps last spring and would be so grateful for any kind of coach who would take the time to reach out and talk with me.
