Erik Colstrup '16 Recruiting Profile

My goals are to play junior hockey and play college hockey. I am working hard to get to that level by skating and working out at the Minnesota Advancement Program (MAP) I think I would be a great candidate for a collegiate hockey team because I have been around hockey my entire life and can't see myself without it and ever since I started skating I have watched college hockey and dreamed about playing at that level one day. I'm a great student, if you tell me something that I need to work on I don't get down about it, I try to make that one of my strengths.  I'm a great teammate and love to build up a team when they are down. What makes me different in character from other recruits is I am friendly, I won't argue with anyone, and I love to have a great time.  Academically I have a 3.0 GPA currently and I am improving that score everyday. I take advanced classes and high math classes.  Thank you for reviewing myself.
