In school, I excel academically with honors and AP classes. On the ice, I am an asset to my team by quickly transitioning from defense to offense, playing with heart, and leaving everything I have on the ice during every practice and game. I am a leader. I like to keep a positive attitude and care about my teammates. I hope to be accepted to a school with high academic standards where I can be challenged both on and off the ice. I fell in love with hockey when I watched the 2014 Olympics where T.J. Oshie's penalty shots helped the USA to beat Russia. It would be an honor to be given the opportunity to continue to play competitively in college.
