I started playing hockey at the age of eight, beginning with Mites but prior to playing I enrolled in skating clinics and learn to play before team play. I have had the privilege of playing on good travels teams, experienced winning a Championship as a Squirt as an "A". I have transitioned to a "AA" Bantam travel team playing in the Long Island (LIAHL) Tier 2 division. My "AA" Bantam team won our LIAHL Division finishing in 1st place, qualifying 1st seed for the 2023 NYSAHA Tournament, making the Semi-Finals finishing 4th in the tournament.
In addition to the travel team I play for a club team, Washingtonville - started playing in eight grade on the JV team. In the off-season I play Lacrosse, started playing for a club team and now transitioned to the JV team as a eight-grader for Washingtonville Central School. My JV team finished 2nd in the league and earned a spot in the league Championship game for 2023 year.
During hockey season I am training off and, on the ice, multiple sessions Monday thru Wednesday for travel and JV team, with an additional training session with Topline (Justin Selman, Boo Nieves) and 3-4 games Friday thru Sunday. Off-season I play lacrosse and train for hockey with Topline.
Academically, I am currently a NJHS (National Junior Honor Society) student and currently enrolled in advanced main course work; planned to receive an Advanced Regents Diploma. Currently a freshman taking sophomore level coursework - weighted GPA is 3.7.
I have aspirations of attending a Tier 1 college to pursue a career in the field of engineering, not sure what specifically since I have interests in many of the areas of engineering i.e., aerospace, materials, mechanical, chemical. While pursuing a higher-education I am very interested in playing hockey in college, it is something I thought about when I was little, before ever skating.
As a person and player, I try to lead and remain "Hungry and Humble"; being hungry keeps me wanting to learn, train hard and remain coachable, being humble reminds me that my success comes from the work put in and being appreciative of opportunities before me.
