Luca Sardella '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Luca Sardella, I am in the class of 2024 at Washingtonville High School in New York. I have wanted to play soccer at the college level since I joined my first competitive team at a young age and took part in Red Bulls RDS youth programs. Over the years, I have participated in group and personal training and played on the US Youth Soccer Olympic Development team. I have been playing with Cedar Stars Academy since 2018 and joined the Washingtonville Varsity team as a starter in 2021. In 2022, our team became the OCIAA Division Champions.  My speed, technical ability, scoring accuracy and power are key skills that I would like to offer a college program.

Growing up in a large Italian family who is passionate about soccer has influenced my love for the game. As a team player, I connect well with others at school and on the field which helps to achieve collective goals. At this time, I am planning to focus on architecture and entrepreneurship in college. I look forward to meeting soccer coaches and learning more about the college programs they represent. I hope you will come out and see me play.
