When I was born, I had a birth injury called Erbs Palsy; my parents were told I would never be able to play sports. I have been successful in baseball, wrestling, basketball, football and hockey as a child. In high school I have played varsity football and hockey, lettering in both, and ran track. I have been successful on different AAA try out hockey teams as well. My disability has never deterred me and has been a primary motivator for me. I would like to complete a degree in a graphic design or criminal justice related field. I would also like to play college hockey. As a hockey player, I demonstrate good leadership skills, am a team player, and have the ability to motive others. I am a varsity Captain on our high school team. I have good hockey sense and knowledge of the ice. I am a play maker who can set plays up and generally has many assists, in addition to goals.
