Ben Erickson '26 Recruiting Profile

Playing lacrosse has always been my passion. I first picked up a stick when I was 5 and I am always committed to learning and getting better with every team I play on. Taking on a leadership role is one of the many things that I strive to accomplish in my lacrosse career. Going to tournaments on different teams has helped me build my leadership skills, and I am committed to always improving. I am fortunate enough to be able to travel and play in many different tournaments around Canada and the USA with my club teams or as an affiliate player. I just love to play. 

I have learned that although I may be on the small side right now, I can overcome that with speed and game IQ. I play very quick and smart, finding passing and shooting lanes through the defence. Being from Canada and playing a lot of box lacrosse, I am not afraid of the contact that bigger defenders bring. I use my size to slip between defenders to get to the inside. I am an elite finisher in tight. I believe that as I continue to grow both physically and with increased exposure to elite teams, I will be unstoppable.

I am an excellent student as well. I strive to always do my best and I have worked hard to maintain a 4.0 GPA throughout my grade 9 year. I am as committed to my education as I am committed to play on the field.
