I appreciate hard work and “grit” required to achieve goals. In life there are two paths when you fall. You can either get knocked down and stay down, or you can get back up and persevere.
My obstacles reminded me that God has a plan. Certain obstacles are in our path for a reason. For example, the story of David & Goliath, if it were not for Goliath, David would only be remembered as a shepherd, not a king who defeated a giant. So now I refer to my obstacles as “Goliaths in my path”. I look at them as challenges and meet them head on. My plan no longer involves panic over defeat, but preparation on how to prevail.
