My collegiate goals and aspirations are to be successful with my school work, and to be successful in the sport of lacrosse. I believe that I am a good candidate for any team, because I can easily adjust to playing with new teammates, following the instructions of a new coach, and I will never turn down an opportunity to get in the game. In addition to adjusting easily, I always carry myself with pride, and make sure to always keep a level head, breaking up fights, and never instigating them. I let my actions on the field speak for themselves. Athletically, I have always trained with 100 percent effort, and I always try to take the time to encourage many of my less than eager teammates to do the same. Academically, I spend time studying, and looking for new ways to study, everyday, and when I do not understand something, I seek help, instead of sinking into a deeper hole by never learning the information. I always include myself in class discussions, and voice my thoughts and solutions to problems, even if I am not sure that they are right. This trait carries over to lacrosse, in cases where a play might not be working, or a defensive set might be failing, I always try to find a way to make the play work, or a way to fortify the defense, even if, in the end, my ideas fail. While running the risk of sounding conceited, I believe I possess many characteristics that make me a great candidate for any team.
